My philosophy
“I love seeing a happy dog, one that is wagging his tail, excited to be here, and having a good time. I won’t guarantee you will get back a clean dog, but I can guarantee one that has thoroughly enjoyed his stay with me. Whether it’s a special treat, a romp in the yard, a few games of ‘fetch’ or just some
quiet time in the house, my goal is to provide each dog with individual attention, so he returns to you happy and looks forward to a return visit.”

We humans definitely feel rejuvenated after spending a day with members of our own species. Whether it’s a night out with the girls, or a good hearty football game the guys enjoy, don’t you always feel better?. Dogs need to be with other dogs for the very same reasons. Being around humans all the time is tough,
and they don't get a chance to 'be dogs’. CTF’s daycare program is designed to allow your dog to have daily interaction and a good old romp with other dogs. Safety of all pets in our care is foremost, and our goal is for each dog to go home happy, tired, but excited to come back. Believe me; you’ll know if he’s happy here, because he’ll tell you the next time you come up the drive…folks are always telling me their dogs know when they’re “going to Pam’s”. As a professional dog trainer, I am skilled at reading dogs temperaments, and will monitor dog-dog interactions. Your dogs will be introduced slowly into the play area, and if any dog is not participating well in the group play, or is aggressive to other dogs, they will be removed to a private area to avoid any undue stress. All dogs must be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare, and shot record up to date.
Board and Train Programs

Phone: 270-360-0091 or Cell: 270-272-7698
Many owners do not have time to dedicate to the commitment of training their dogs properly. Depending on the type of training selected, your dog could receive as many as two or three 30-45 minute training segments a day, six days a week or as many mini sessions that are needed to accomplish the goals. Instructions for continued success with the training are then transferred to the owners, with additional follow-ups as needed.
Housebreaking
Housebreaking is one of the most difficult tasks to dog ownership. Many owners don’t have time to get their dog on track with housebreaking. I can! Your dog will be trained to potty on a schedule you can live with.
There’s a whole lot of “P” in
housebreaking, but with the Praise, Persistence, Perseverance, and Patience, I can Provide… we’ll get it done.
Walk on a Loose Lease & Pay
Attention
Dogs must be 5 months of age. Your dog will learn not to pull on the leash, and to look to you for guidance. He will learn to sit beside you when you stop and be attentive to you. Teaching your dog a reliable sit command and having him focus his attention on you goes a long way towards eliminating many dog owner's 'problems'. It gives your young dog the self-control needed to accomplish additional
training.
Fetch and Come when called
Many owners need to provide their dogs with more exercise than they have time for, and the ‘Fetch and Come’ game is perfect this. It is designed to promote the human as leader, while giving the dog additional exercise, plus you end up having a really fun time with your dog. (Come when called off leash is not accomplished with this program.)
AKC Novice Guaranteed!
Your dog will undergo a 10 week program in which he will learn all the skills needed to accomplish a qualifying score in an AKC novice obedience class. Off-leash heel, automatic sit, sit-stay, down, down-stay, stand for exam, and recall amongst distractions. Skills are transferred to owner at completion of training, with follow-ups. Owner/dog receives free consultations for life of the dog.

Basic Manners
This is a 4 week program in which you will teach your dog to walk on a loose leash, sit, stay, down, and come when he hears his name. This is done using treats, praise and ‘whatever works’. It is an excellent program for starting younger dogs, and emphasis is placed on teaching owners to see the world from their dog’s point of view and instill good leadership habits.

Accept a friendly stranger, Sitting politely for petting, Appearance & Grooming, Walk on a loose lead, Walking through a crowd, Sit & Down on command/Stay in place, Come when called, Reaction to another dog, Reaction to distraction, supervised separation.
